    Bill Seeberg

    PRESIDENT

Bill first played pickleball in the fall of 2018 while on a family vacation on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. After that he played sporadically until the late summer of 2022 when the Riverside courts were redone. Since then he’s been an avid participant whenever the weather is favorable. He enjoys the physical and social aspects of the game. If you play, you can’t help meeting new people. He’d not be surprised to be described as a loner, and yet as his wife and he walked though Bridge Square on Jesse James townie night last September, she finally stopped him and asked, “How come you suddenly know so many people?” That’s pickleball.

    Jane Becker Nelson

    SECRETARY

Jane brings her passion for connecting people with creative experiences to the Northfield Pickleball Association board. By day, she directs the Flaten Art Museum at St. Olaf College. Off the clock, you'll find her on the courts. A former tennis player, it was love at first dink with pickleball. She's excited to help build a pickleball community that the whole town can be part of.

    Adam Hoffmann

    TREASURER

Adam began playing pickleball casually in 2021 as a way to be active and social, but quickly found it to be the lifetime sport that he’d been looking for after decades of playing and coaching football.  When he’s not on the local courts, this self-proclaimed paddle nerd is often listening to pickleball podcasts, playing in tournaments, and connecting with others with the goal of broadening the reach of the sport.

    Bruce Hamilton

    BOARD MEMBER AT-LARGE

Bruce moved to Northfield in 2018 after 50 years in Green Bay. He’s been playing pickleball for about ten years (“I know, it’s hard to tell,” he says). He came over from tennis. He likes the socialization of the groups and the camaraderie.

  • Mary Harrity Davidson

    BOARD MEMBER AT-LARGE

Mary is an avid sports fan and loves pretty much all racquet and paddle sports! Her first love was tennis, which she began playing in 3rd grade at Longfellow Park in Minneapolis. She went on to play competitively at Roosevelt High school and then St. Cloud State. Mary loved tennis so much that she decided to coach and has been doing so…going on 39 years here in Northfield. Mary discovered pickleball a few years ago and says it is a great way to meet people of all ages and skill levels!. It’s very fun and an amazing workout!

  • Trina Kern

    BOARD MEMBER AT-LARGE

Trina is a new member of the Northfield Pickleball Association board and a passionate advocate for the community that pickleball creates. A former college soccer player, she has played pickleball for about five years and can often be found squeezing in games between meetings thanks to her remote marketing role with an educational technology company. After moving to Northfield in 2025, she quickly connected with the local pickleball community and is excited to help grow the sport, especially among younger players. A lover of games and friendly competition, she believes pickleball is one of the best ways to bring people together.
